Hello, I am writing this to see if anyone has some suggestions for me. I have been using KB2008 and KB2011 for a long time, but recently, I received new computer from my work, and now, all my sendkey commands are not working correct, when I try to create new global commands in KB (either 2008 or 2011, both have same behaviour).

The main issue, and I think it is due to something in the windows XP operating system I am using with US English-Finnish keyboard layout, and that is that when I go in to create a new command and want to use the sendkeys statement with a key like "enter" so that I say "Sendkeys Enter", that what happens is that instead of the words "Sendkeys "{Enter}"" being put into the command, it comes out "Sendkeys "7Enter0".

So the problem is that the key combination on my keyboard to get the open Brace "{" or close Brace "}" is not working in Knowbrainer.  Normally I have to use the key combination AltGr + 7, or AltGR + 8 in order to get these brace characters.  so it seems that Knowbrainer does not know how to handle the AltGR character on my keyboard, or I have to change something in my windows xp which uses Finnish keyboard layout.  I tried to change to just US keyboard layout, but still the key combination does not come out right...

Does anyone have any experience on how to get Knowbrainer to recognize the correct AltGR key combination?  I am frustrated, because now, I have to make my command in Knowbrainer editor, and then copy the command to notepad, and do a search and replace to correct the braces in the command... I hope I am making some sense... I do not think this is problem with Knowbrainer, but rather, issue how to get Knowbrainer to recognize non-us keyboard key layout...

Any help is appreciated

Cheers

Dave in Finland
