We have just finished a detailed pictorial on upgrading your KnowBrainer commands. Our new Latest KnowBrainer 2017 Commands pdf includes details on overwriting your current commands (with our new KBCommandsUpdater utility) and a step-by-step on protecting your custom personal commands, if you choose to do so, by exporting and importing. The latest release is <%> KB Build 07-16-2020

Though supposedly "pinned", this topic is slowly drifting off the top.

Thanks for this reminder Edgar. We were only planning on pinning our original post for a week because we were working on a much simpler approach but it was easy enough to edit the original post and pin it for year; considering the importance of the recent development.

We may as well announce it now: We have just finished beta testing and have released the new KBCommandUpdater utility (courtesy of Rüdiger Wilke) which, after you install it, only requires a single double-click to update your KnowBrainer command collection. No more unzipping or cutting and pasting required. This is a quick and simple process for end-users who do not need to preserve any personal commands but for those who have created personal commands, the new Latest KnowBrainer 2017 Commands PDF pictorially details that process on page 3.

If there any way when you are importing your commands to just select all commands that you created instead of having to go thru each category and pick them out? When you have commands that you have created over a period of time it's hard to remember which ones you created

You won't have this option until KnowBrainer 2021 is released. Sorry about that but if you are about to do this, download the latest KnowBrainer Build 1st. We won't have the following commands available in our manuals until later today (it's after 1 AM) but we've added a few new AI commands that will include some new killer open and search commads; beginning with <Show/Open/Start/Launch/Find/Play/Go To> <App/Application/Folder/Web/Website/File/Document/Settings/Music/Song><dictation>. This loosely translates to being able to open any application, file, folder, website, photo or song (which automatically plays) anywhere in your computer. You will also be able to take advantage of the new Find In Folder <dictation> or Search In Folder <dictation> commands which will copy highlighted text to Windows clipboard and search any folder you name. We frequently use this command to look up email or customer names in our Sales folder. File Explorer will also be receiving a few new commands such as the ability to move up or down 1 to 20 icons when using File Explorer's Preview option. There is also a new Open <dictation> command that will allow you to open any file, no matter where your mouse has focus.

We do not publicly disclose software release dates, like Nuance, for the same reasons.
