I accidentally said "Hyphenate <Dictation>" in a non-friendly text field and had KB completely go nuts. Dragon goes into a loop, repeating "select that" (which does nothing), "Hyphenate That" (recognised as a command, but otherwise does nothing), and "go back" (which gets typed out). It repeats this indefinitely until you close Dragon. It does not accept any other voice commands or dictation. When I went to check on KB while this was happening, the following error message occurred.

Just thought I would report this. I've managed to replicate it successfully every time. It works fine in Select-and-Say fields.

I can confirm this when dictating into PSPad (not Select-and-Say).

Yikes! We have also confirmed this error. We have increased the wait time from .5 to 1 second but also changed the name to make it similar to other KnowBrainer formatting commands that begin with the word “Type”; like Type Bold <dictation>. Changing the Command Name to Type Hyphenate <dictation> should prevent accidental deployment. We will take a closer look this weekend and have uploaded the change to at least get this command out of your way.

A couple of weeks ago, a user reported an issue where Dragon would get into an endless loop involving the commands "compound that" and "go back".

Today this user reports a similar issue, this time with the hyphenate <Dictation> command. This command contains an embedded engCtrl.Recognition.Mimic ("Hyphenate that")  command.

Yesterday I encountered a similar issue myself with  a Clip <dictation> command. Dragon got itself into an endless loop  involving "Compound That" and "Go Back". This command copies dictation to clipboard, and then executes a Heardword "Compound", "that".   I shut down Dragon and restarted, but  the loop continued. Eventually I had to restart the computer.

So here we have 3 instances, all involving some variation of the Recognition Mimic command or Heardword commands. I wonder if there is something in the embedded commands which causes the loop.
