In an earlier posting I posted that I was getting a sound that made me sound as if I was in a tunnel, and then I managed to get the decent sound, clean I have come to associate with the Philips.
Logitech Quickcam updated their software recently and I was back in the tunnel, with unsatisfactory message being thrown out by Dragon.
I disabled the Logitech microphone, now, when testing via skype test facility, I get a continous buzzer sound, and I can hear myself in the background, even with the quickcam disconnected. Dragon will not even turn the microphone on!
Rebooting hasn't helped. Please help. Where d I go to disable the buzzer? |

PS, I restored to an earlier time and the Logitech was then working as the primary input source. I disabled and now all is well, sort of.
When I tried to load KB I got the damged message and need to set up another profile. SIGH, here we go again. I have never been able to access (I get access) the program backed up and get it to work, so have had to rertain and re-input all macros. And that hs been the position since I started on this forum. All the right files are there, but when I try to load and reload, diddly squat happens and I still have to retrain and input the macros. Pity, as I am on a deadline, and speaking would have been a lot faster................... |

Did you try switching to your backup user profile?

No backup I have ever made has ever worked, even the command(macros) file, since 2006, even though I followed the instructions to the letter.
A great boon would be if I can rescue and copy into the current profile (up and running) the command file. Where located and which specific file? |

Have you tried option #2 when you look up “switching” in the NaturallySpeaking Quick Tips (in the KnowBrainer Wikis section of the forum)? -------------------------
