I would appreciate comments/tips on a new system (desk top) to move from my old system, built 2007, 32 bit (now slow with dragon).

 Running Nat peak Pro 11.5, with WordPerfect, with a Philips speech mic.

 This is what I have come up with, so far:-

 M/B Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 S1155 Intel Z68 DDR3 ATX;
Processor Intel Core I7-2600K Quad Core1155 3.4ghz SandyBridge;
Memory 16 GB Corsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 Ram;
HD Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATAIII 6Gb/s 16MB Cache 3.5 inch Internal
Vid Cd Assus Radeon HD6450 512 GDDR3 PCI-E 2.1 x 16 Graphics
Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium.

I did look at solid state drives, but 6-10 times the price for less storage spec.

Thoughts/ideas?

We moved your posting to the computer forum but noted that yesterday, M-Tech unveiled the new Ivy Bridge boards. M Tech is often the 1st to introduce new technologies but that probably means that other manufacturers are close behind. You might want to factor that information into your purchase.
