I want to use WSR but it has not been working lately. Whenever I say a command like "start menu" the words "start menu" will pop up in the little box within the speech icon but the actual start menu wont pop up. Also, saying stop/start listening doesn't work.

I created a custom script so when I call for my computer it will answer back and that's not working either.

The code is as follows.

Does anyone know what is the problem?

Have you tried rebooting your computer or restarting Windows speech recognition?  If that does not work, try making a new user recognition profile.  You can do this by going the route – Start Menu > Control Panel > Speech Recognition > Advanced Speech Options. 

Then click 'New' and follow the prompts to make a new recognition profile with training.
