I have to keep my computer on because I'm a quadriplegic, so at bedtime I put power saving mode to turn off the display after one minute (but "never" for sleep). It used to work fine, the display would turn off and when I wanted to wake up Dragon the screen would come back on and the microphone would work.

Now when I say "wake up" the display comes back on but the green microphone icon turns red immediately and then I have no way to turn the mic back on Since I can't move. it also no longer hears me and the display goes back off after the minute so when I make any sound after that the display stays off. So the problem is obviously happens when coming out of that power saving display mode .Anyone know what could be causing this, and if there is a way I can fix it?
