This has nothing to do with upgrading because it was like this previously. It is so frustrating because when I forget I have to restart . ------------------------- I used speech type because I have acquired spinal-cord injury and lack finger movement. |

You might try setting your display options to Small Icons or List. Then when you go into specific folders, you could choose Large or Extra-Large icons in order to see your photographs.

I'm afraid I don't have other ideas. But if it helps for the sake of comparison, my My Pictures folder is 57.5 GB, and I can open it okay with the Open My Pictures command. However, I'm using Windows 7, and maybe Windows 10 (if that is what you are using) is more problematic in this respect.
On edit: I see that you are using DPI 15.6. I am using 11.5 Premium. I don't know if your problems went back that many versions or just a couple of versions. ------------------------- The woman who dueled with Aaron Burr and won: www.MmeJumel.com

We have never experience this problem with any version or edition Dragon; including Ver. 15.61. Our average picture folder is about 6 Mb and we have set it to preview. This is the most difficult way to use File Explorer but again, there is no lag time. We use 64 Gb of RAM but we don't believe this has anything to do with your issue. We don't have an answer other than letting you know that we have no problem with this issue. ------------------------- Forum Mission Statement |
