Any suggestion what setting I need to change for DMPE 4.3 to type November 30th versus November 30?

Unfortunately, there is no way to achieve this with Dragon's date formatting.

The only thing you could do is to turn off automatic date formatting altogether, but then you'd get "October the 30th" and not "October 30th" or "November the first" instead of "November 1st", let alone being able to get a consistant date formatting with different pronunciations or abbreviations or month numbers.

Btw. the date formatting options in Windows don't allow for these ordinal suffixes either, so it seems to me that this is not a very common request to make.

Perhaps if you can live with common date formatting it'll make your life with Dragon easier

Thanks for the response. I need the date formatting. Ironically, I did not have the problem with "th" before the new profile. I'll keep experimenting.

Having tried myself:
When I turn off automatic date formatting, I can say "november thirtieth" and get "November 30th".
Similar when I say "november thirtieth twenty twenty" I get "November 30th 2020".

Activating automatic date formatting yields "November 30" and "November 30, 2020" (note the comma), when "Date as spoken" is selected.
Choosing a different date format has no impact when dictating a date without year (writing only "30" although you can see in the preview window that "thirtieth" has been recognized), but yields 30/11/2020 for a date format of DD/MM/YYYY.
