Office 2007 should work fine with Premium 13 but we are not certain if Office 2016 is still available on DVD. If it is, it is more expensive, has a limited future and Microsoft wants everyone to jump to Office 365 which does not include an upgrade option but has a number of advantages. Perhaps most importantly, an Office 365 license may be more affordable and you will always have the latest version because upgrades download automatically. We believe Office 365 starts off with a $7 per month charge (for up to 5 computers) and you pretty much get the whole enchilada. ------------------------- Forum Mission Statement |

I recommend you to install office 16 instead of 2007. I am using office 16 for my office work at 7dollaressay reviews. Well, If you are okay with the current version then just carry on.

Note: the $7 subscription is for one copy (Computer), Not 5.

Once you get the installation file, make sure you burn a copy for yourself before returning the disk if it is borrowed. 1. Find a friend (new or old) who has the right CD and is willing to lend you the CD. Unlike the very “old” DOS days when there was a signature file on the floppy, there is nothing unique on the CD to identify it. The uniqueness is provided via the Product key you use to activate it. So, you can borrow a CD without threatening their installation/activation. 2. Ask at work if they have an installation CD you can borrow. There are often old disks “hiding” in dark corners of storage rooms 3. Try to find a local “PC Computer Club”. There is almost certainly a geek or three with disks you could borrow. 4. Find a small local computer store or repair business. They often have new unsold copies of “old” versions of software because they are still supporting customers using them.
5. At the small repair business they may have old computers that customers had upgraded from that you could now use (buy and transfer to your machine) 6. You could buy it “new” online from a reputable online store. Be very careful who you give your money to 7. Try websites like Kijiji or Craig’s List to see if you can borrow or buy it from an individual 8. Try getting one from MS (if it works, please post back here, there are many interested people who would like to know that MS is still providing that kind of support) Replace MS Hardware and Software http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246/ 9. Replacment Disk - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/302822 10. Replacement CD - http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_install/replacement-cd/fb8230d4-000f-4ee7-b732-c9f8fff28bfd I hope this helps you in Office 365 migration. |

Welcome (See Mission Statement)
kkkwj nailed it. Unless you have a slow broadband connection, go with Microsoft 365 which will allow you to do everything from home and you can avoid purchasing or dealing with a disc. Even Dragon is no longer available on DVD. We also recommend leasing rather than purchasing because purchasing is probably already out of date, very expensive and can only legally be installed on one computer. Your download lease allows you to install on 5 different computers which you can share with other family members, your 1st grade teacher and even the homeless guy in your basement who you have yet to meet. You will always be using the latest version because Microsoft notifies you when there are any updates. The download and installation process is seamless. The only catch is DPI 15.3 doesn't get along well with Outlook 2019 or Excel 2019. If you have an option, go with 2016 until Dragon 16 is released. ------------------------- Forum Mission Statement |

I recently built a new machine and installed Windows and Office 365 on it. The machine doesn't even have a disk reader on it. Neither do most laptops these days. The download and install of Office 365 (now called Microsoft 365) was painless. It's roughly $100 a year for 1TB (or is it 2TB now?) of OneDrive storage 5 machine licenses including all the usual Office apps (including OneNote and Access).
