Microphone Brand and Model - Blackwire-3300 plugged into MDA220 switch
Operating System - Windows 10 – 1803
Speech Software – Dragon Medical 360
Speech Software Version – 12.51.217.101

Error: The vocabulary 'Medical - Large' does not exist.

 

I've crawled through the local logs found in appdata/roaming and found the below errors.

Is there a cause and fix for this??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This error continued everytime we loaded profile.. fixed by deleting roaming profile from server and re-creating.

The error message 'Medical - Large' does not exist typically means that the vocabulary portion of your user profile is corrupted. This can't be fixed but with a little luck, you can switch to your backup user profile. You'll find details on this procedure when you look up “switching” (as in switching to your backup user profile) in the Quick Tips at the top of this page.

Note: Medical 360 is about equivalent to an Edsel. It's time to put the Medical 360 out to pasture and upgrade to either DMPE 4.3 or Dragon Medical One (DMO).

Unfortunately I just support the users & software, have no say in upgrading!

This has happened a few times to our user, is there any definitive reason for this? Anything we can try to stop it happening again.

Since your end-user insists on using Medical 360 (Ver. 12), he/she should probably get used to an occasional corrupted user profile. You might remind your end-user that when they close Medical 360, before shutting down their computer, they should give Dragon a little extra time; especially when it is re-creating a backup profile.
