Just want to suggest 2 products I have found useful for sanitizing and deodorizing microphones.

MICROPHOME Professional Mic Cleaning Foam (my favorate)

Goby Labs Microphone Sanitizer (also excellent)

Any idea either of the products you recommended is up to Virox snuff in terms sanitizing oomph?

The buttons on the PowerMic in the institution apparently have been getting stuck due to the constant viroxing and what not ...

I do not know the anti-viral ability of the two products I mentioned.
I use these products only on my personal mics (Phillips SpeechMike) that I do not share.
I like to keep the mics from smelling gross from whatever spit residue and finger grime that builds up over time.

For the shared PowerMic's at the hospital I just wear the cheap non-N95 masks the hospital provides when I dictate and apply hand sanitizer before and after handling the hospital phones and PowerMic's. Unfortunately germicidal/virocidal wipes are almost never around where the providers dictate.
